Description
The seminars offered in the module from the subject area of strategy and management of landscape development
comprise three areas of work:
1. typical problems of the subject area with research reference
2. typical planning and scientific methods of the subject area
3. typical methodological and problem-related levels of analysis ('analysis layers') in the thematic field.

Prerequisites
Knowledge and skills in mapping, analysing, evaluating, planning, designing and synthesising as taught in the modules

- Renaturation ecology, nature conservation, instruments of landscape planning

Teaching and learning methods
In the seminar, examples of research and planning projects from the offered subject area are analysed with regard to typical methods and problems (research databases, project research, literature work) on the basis of a given system in order to provide important support for a Bachelor's thesis that is usually started in parallel.
While this step can take place in small group work, the subsequent formulation of one's own research task in the form of a simple exposé is done in individual elaboration with oral supervision and written correction by the lecturers. In this way, the development of a typical research question, as it is also posed in a Bachelor's thesis, can be systematically retraced
