Focus of work
Contact person for the laboratory and laboratory matters including ordering for the laboratory
Safety officer (including annual safety training) and first aid
Molecular biology work:
- DNA extraction and PCR to determine abascular mycorrhiza from soil samples
- Staining of roots to visualize abascular mycorrhiza
- Collaboration and method improvement for the extraction of cellulose from core sample annual ring samples in cooperation with a neighboring working group
- Development of an additional sample preparation method for core sample annual ring samples for further processing in a Retsch mill
