Biography
Deborah Henschel is a PhD student at the Chair for Strategic Landcape Planning and Management at the Technical University of Munich and has more than 15 years of experience in research and practice. In her research, she identifies and investigates public sector potentials for the integrated development of urban green infrastructure in a network approach. Her research always has a trans- or interdisciplinary approach, e.g. in the past she researched the importance of the new sensibility according to Herbert Markuse for societal transformation. Her previous professional experience includes participation projects for Green City e.V. and for the Munich Social Department. She also works as a guest lecturer for participation in Stuttgart and as a trainer for municipalities throughout Germany for the structural anchoring of participation in everyday life. Deborah Henschel studied social sciences with a focus on social change and participation in Munich.
