Von der Autobahn A92

Exit to Freising Mitte; turn right, follow the street for 1 km, then turn left, cross the bridge over the river Isar, and turn right at the next signal towards Freising. In Freising, turn left at the second signal and turn right after 50 m. At the end of the street (after 200 m) turn left into Gartenstrasse.
Follow this street for approximately 1 km until it ends in a T-junction. Turn right and cross two little bridges over the Moosach. The Chair of Aquatic Systems Biology is the first building on the left hand side after crossing the second bridge.

 

From Munich Central Station

By Train (approx. 25 min) or S-Bahn S1 (approx. 40 min) to Freising station.

Note: S1 S-Bahn carriages split at Neufahrn, the front section travels to Freising and the rear section to the Airport. Tickets must be bought on the vending machines located at the platforms, and must be stamped at the "Entwerter" machines before stepping on the train.

Bus 635 leaves every 20 min and takes approximately 15 min to Freising station where you can switch to the bus 638 as described below. The ticket is valid for both bus rides.

 

Take the Bus 638 heading to Hohenbachern/ Hittostrasse, exit the bus at the bus stop “Bachstraße”. After leaving the bus head towards “Pension Pflügler” and walk straight on to Mühlenweg (it is the lower part of the road junction). The Chair of Aquatic Systems Biology is located in Mühlenweg 22.

Mit dem Auto ist die Limnologische Station über die BAB A95 München-Garmisch, Ausfahrt Penzberg/Iffeldorf zu erreichen. Die Fahrt von München dauert bei guter Verkehrslage etwa 40 Minuten.

Nach der Ausfahrt Penzberg/Iffeldorf nach rechts Richtung Iffeldorf/Untereurach und in Untereurach nach links abbiegen (über die Bahngleise). Dem Straßenverlauf bis zum Hinweisschild Kirche P Osterseen, Ortsmitte, folgen. Von diesem Parkplatz führt ein Fußweg zur Kirche, die sich unmittelbar hinter der Limnologischen Station befindet.

Mit dem Zug ist die Limnologische Station stündlich vom Münchener Hauptbahnhof (Bereich Starnberger Bahnhof) zu erreichen. Ein kleiner Fußmarsch führt zur Iffeldorfer Kirche und zur Limnologischen Station.
